Rental time is for 5 hours. A $250 per hour charge
will apply if event extends beyond reserved time.
Example: event time 6-11, event starts at 6:00 clean up
and out by 12:00. Brides may arrive 2 hours prior to
event starting. All other attendants, family and wedding
party 1 hour prior.
Bar and music to be shut off 15 minutes prior to
event ending. This helps let your guest know the
event is ending. Then you can start your clean up.
Alcohol must be
served by a Texas certified bartender provided by
The Taylor Mansion at a rate of $30.00 per hour per
bartender. 1 Bartender per 100 persons.
For events over 250 security is required 1 per each
additional 100 people. (ex. 250 1 needed 350 2 needed up
to 400 person max.
Caterers and Bartenders are responsible for leaving
kitchen and Bar area the way found, kitchen is for
staging food only, not cooking. All food items
must already be prepared and ready to serve. (All food
and drinks should be cleaned up where set up and served,
trash picked up and discarded in provided trash bags,
floor swept, counters and cabinets wiped down with
cleaner and any food or drink spills wiped up.
No food or beverages
brought into mansion except kitchen area. This is to
protect the furniture and the integrity of the Mansion.
No
glass items permitted in pool pavilion or pool area.
The Taylor Mansion is a
no smoking facility this includes all areas Mansion,
Porches, Conservatory, Pool Pavilion, Restrooms, parking
Area, and grounds, please discard cigarette butts in
proper receptacle. Ash trays are available. Please
do not throw on grounds or put out on floor.
All decorations, flowers, candles
containers and boxes must be taken with you or discarded
at
end of event. Please break boxes down and use trash cans/bags when discarding
all trash. Place bags and boxes on edge of driveway next
to conservatory (An additional fee will be charged for
excessive trash clean up).
Please park in designated parking area only, and please stay on
the driveway when coming or going. Sprinkler heads cover
all areas except parking area and driveway. This is to
leave the drive open for emergencies and bride and
grooms transportation.
Brides room
is available for bride and 1 attendant only. Bride and
assistant may arrive 2 hours prior to event all other
attendants, wedding party, and family 1 hour prior to
event start time. If needed
restrooms facilities are available in pool pavilion, and
ball room.
Birdseed, rice, confetti, artificial flower petals, nuts
with shells and sparklers are prohibited.
Bubbles, real flower petals and lavender are permitted.
We are always open for suggestions.
The use of candles/containers and luminaries and desired
area of use must be pre-approved by the Taylor Mansion 2
weeks prior to event. Please extinguish properly
and discard after event.
The use of tape, wire, tacks, staples, nails, glue, or
any other damaging items may not be used to hang
decorations. With prior notice, we will work with you to
hang decorations in an acceptable manner.
Please do not
hang anything from crystal beads or sheer swags in ball
room.
Safety is important to us and we ask that children be
supervised at all times. Playground/tire swing may
be used with adult supervision only.
We want to work with you to
accommodate all your needs to make your event as safe
